Everyone understands this; the signal disagreement in our awful and abstracted politics comes down to how people feel about it. The shape of that question’s expression changes […]

Ron DeSantis is actually incapable of smiling but has practiced grimacing so much that it appears like smiling. Except his mouth is the only part that moves. He’s like a bad actor who only emotes with one part of his body, his face, that he doesn’t have enough brain power to replicate that fake emotion across his whole body. So the end result is one part emotion and three parts dumb schlub.

He always grimaces like there’s a cactus in his anus. That’s probably what it feels like to be so far removed form reality like he is

Don’t know this qualifies as a “smile”, more like a snake unhinging their jaw to swallow prey:

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
