And there were real believers within the GOP who wanted to avoid WW3 or a nuclear engagement only to see AIPAC have more pull than actual Americans in the deployment of American muscle. Trump needs to keep those stragglers in line or risk having a shattered party that can’t do anything but in-fight over the next 3 years.

He’s fighting this so hard because this is a fight for his future.

I loved writing essays and see the value for a student in knowing how to state a case and back it up with evidence, what counts as evidence, and the importance of clearly communicating the ideas.

That said, I also use AI to write copy daily and the most important thing for anyone’s cognition is critical thinking and reading comprehension, both of which AI is going to teach us whether we want it or not. Critical analysis is the only way we can navigate the future.

Maybe this is another Great Filter for technologically advancing critters?

The sad truth is that AI empowers the malicious to create a bigger impact on workload and standards than is scalable with humans alone. An AI running triage on article changes that flags or reports changes which need more input would be ideal. But threat mitigation and integrity preservation don’t really seem to be high on their priorities.

So Trump set a time bomb for who he thought would be 46 and then lost his re-election. Now he has to fix the mess he created - and if he does he will be hailed as a corporate hero for fixing the tax problem he created.

If he doesn’t fix it he will continue to plunge the future of America into chaos.
