Alabama state Rep. David Cole ® on Tuesday was arrested and charged with voter fraud on accusations he voted in “multiple or unauthorized locations,” according to jail records provided by Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the sheriff’s records, Cole was booked Tuesday afternoon and released on bail amounting to $2,500. The charge is a Class C felony, meaning conviction could result in up to 10 years in prison.

Al.com, a local news outlet, said Attorney General Steve Marshall’s office confirmed he was prosecuting the case.

      I remember them doing this all the time back when they first went in the air. It’s part of what actually made me aware of politics. I was doing a school report on some local politician that got in legal trouble and they did a story covering the same politician which seemed exciting at the time. I was shocked that they listed the republican politician as a Democrat, thought for sure they would issue a correction for such an embarrassing and obvious mistake. A few days later as a text footnote at the end of one of their broadcasts they finally “corrected themselves”. But I was paying attention now and they did this all the time. If the scandalized politician was not known nationally they would accidentally report the wrong party to try and make the Dems look bad.

          Republican policy today is that is doesn’t matter if your business is the biggest moneymaker in the state; if you disagree publicly with the Führer, you must be punished.

          The Repubs gave up on big business. Scammers, hate groups, and Russia are their favorites now.
