Kamala’s running, but she’ll get savaged. We were willing to accept her as an alternative to both Biden and Trump, but that was an extremely low bar. Throw in a bunch of other Democratic and DemSoc candidates, and she doesn’t even crack the Top 5.

    Everyone should.

Harris’ only advantage is name recognition, to keep that fresh she’ll keep “endorsing” literally everyone, just to keep her name in the headlines.

The only way she’ll stop, is if candidates start publicly rejecting her.

I understand candidates just wanting to ignore her, but we need politicians willing to see they don’t want her support.

      Kamala endorsing you implies you’re pro-corp, pro-establishment, pro-cops.

I don’t want more of the same.

Kamala endorsing anyone just means Kamala thinks it will help her.

She could endorse you, that wouldn’t change anything about you.

She’s just trying to frame herself as a defacto party leader endorsing and fundraising (for whatever these emails are actually worth) for anyone who’s been nominated. She endorsed el-Sayed and he had massive opposition spending from the establishment.

Nah, Biden’s biggest mistake was undoubtedly appointing conservative do-nothing Merrick Garland instead of somebody who would actually do their fucking job and prosecute Trump’s crimes.

Everything else is dwarfed in comparison to that. Biden is going to go down in history worse than Neville Chamberlain, as the President who let the fascists destroy the country on his watch and did fuck-all to stop them.

100%. Biden’s out-of-the-gate COVID Vaccination Plan, and Economic Stimulus Plan were both wildly successful, and those two things alone would have put him among the Top 10 presidents of all time, IF he had done a decent job in the rest of of his administration.

But he appointed the most feckless REPUBLICAN in existence to be his AG, and investigate the Trump Administration, and he proceeded to dither and slow-walk EVERYTHING for two years, allowing Trump to run out the clock, and MAGA to rise again. Worse, they did it all in plain sight, boasting about it the entire time, and the Biden Administration did absolutely NOTHING to try to avoid it, as we all SCREAMED to stop them, and were ignored.

For that, Biden will be cemented among the Bottom 15, among the losers and traitors who allowed the Confederacy to gain strength and secede. Biden is one of them.

Biggest mistake? That’s a tough field.

I’d argue it was not charging trump with Jan6, or any of his other crimes.

or hiring and not firing Merrick Garland.

or running a second term when he should have held a primary for a new candidate.

Harris was a giant nobody during Biden’s presidency. Nobody gave af about her until Biden dropped and we were just stuck with her.

Didn’t he promise to only do one term too? I feel like I remember that, but could be misinformation at this point.

It was worse than just making Harris a nobody. He dumped on her all the no win issues he didn’t want to have sully his name. He never gave her any wins and saddled her with shit. It almost looked like intentional sabotage. Certainly not the centrist master plan I expected with her being chosen.

DNC didn’t deny shit the second time.

This is so annoying. Bernie lost fair and square. I voted for him, others did too but many, many more coalesced around Biden.

Perhaps if him and Warren worked a deal that one would drop out in favor of the other but they didn’t and thus split some votes. They didn’t though, both lost.

Ideal in 2024? Can’t really say who but I would’ve loved an actual primary, I voted for KH and 100000000% agree with you’re actually factual point that she would have obviously been better than Trump has been for the world as a whole. But let’s not act like the slapdash way she was(by no fault of her own) made the candidate after Biden flopped hard in the first debate was normal or helpful.

I don’t like her at all, just for being a former cop(yes AGs count as cops for me), but she never really had a good opportunity to run a proper campaign against Trump. Had Joe put her in the spotlight as the next one up from day one I think we’d be in a much better place as a species than we are now.

      Not his precious genocide?

Looking at these comments, you’re all fucking idiots. Downvote away.

Nevermind the ethical implication of suggesting his worst mistakes we’re not his unconditional support for Israel’s genocide, political cover, illegal weapons transfers, repeatedly lying about seeing beheaded children, calling students from your own base protesting that terrorists and allowing police to attack them, dragging reporters out of the press room for asking questions, I could go on…

Her unwillingness to not fully support genocide and call for “most lethal military” in the face of protests is why she wasn’t elected.

Trump being dragged into a war with Iran is directly connected to the series of events that unfolded as a result Israel committing genocide with US funding and political protection and cover.

Literally everything we’re dealing with today is because Biden insisted on having his genocide and callously licked ice cream while saying there are none chances of a ceasefire and repeatedly lying about seeing war crimes to justify dropping 2,000 bombs on a mostly child population.

Fuck Biden and fuck everyone who remembers him for anything but his genocide.

I don’t like Harris but Biden was far less competent and suited to the moment.

Obama’s biggest mistake was playing it safe with a DEI hire for an ideologically bankrupt, incompetent old white guy for his VP.

Harris doesn’t have charisma with normal people (though she is apparently great at getting fundraising from the rich and powerful…) but at least she showed some kind of awareness of how to play politics unlike Biden who stumbled through his presidency and failed campaign for re-election like a dementia patient sleepwalking out onto a busy highway.

Biden was a politician whose time had passed. After Obama, the party should have moved in a new direction, even though Obama was as corpo-establishment as they come. Instead of going in a new, fresh direction, they appointed Biden, and we were right back to the olden days.
