As a Minnesotan, please not Walz. As an American, please Walz.

There is no reason to believe that he would have any effect on Wisconsin or Michigan. Minnesota is a blue state.

He is the best on Palestine, which is a huge boost for Michigan.

Not huge at all. Muslims are only 2.5% of the population. Where are you coming up with this?

2.5% is huge when you talk about people who tend to vote democrat. Also, it isn’t just Muslims. The Michigan primary was the beginning of the end for Biden when uncommitted voters showed their ire at him. Picking a pro Israel vp shows those voters that Harris is pro genocide at worst, or just doesn’t care at best.

No it isn’t huge. What is huge in Michigan is union workers, and there this no reason to suspect he would have great effect there either.

Both of the people in the running have the ire of unions. Shapiro for being all in on undermining public education and Kelly for not supporting that bill the unions wanted. Walz doesn’t have that baggage. If you want a motivate electorate, Walz is the way to go. He is good on all the bedrock things.

So since the governor of Minnesota didn’t take a position, he will deliver Michigan? BTW, the UAW already endosed Harris and in the last poll she leads by 2 points. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t care who she picks. But, to think a governor from another state will make a difference is ridiculous

So now you’re arguing that it’s a monolithic voting block. Doubt that.

I don’t. I don’t call them huge either. And I don’t make up a story about a governor from another state moving them,
