Part of me hates to see her try. As long as she is straddling the line between serious presidential candidate and popular US House member my head cannon reasons there is still some sanity in some small part of our political institutions.

Watching her actually seriously try to get the top job and watching the DNC ruin her for it would be so depressing.

Yeah America and the DNC is not ready for her. It would be great for the country but they are too beholden to big business to let her win. They’ll block her any way they can.

Amen - the thought of another loss just because some people (even women themselves) can’t see a woman as president despite women being in positions of power everywhere. 1/3rd of this country is still living in the 1800s in their minds.

But he ran for the democratic nomination. That distinction really doesn’t make any difference in this case. They successfully stopped him twice.

It would internally to them and it did in the end. They just simply weren’t prepared to spend money on an independent and found a way to stop it.

It’s a shame, he’d have made a good president and I don’t think Trump would have beaten him. We’d be looking at a different history and world by now.

Though, I do hope that even the dullocrats now see that there needs to be a popular candidate to stop this ongoing fascism converging to literal Gilead…

So maybe a different situation. It cannot end well for the US, when Trump has too long access to power or whatever spawn of hell follows…

The hope is dieing at last.

Tbh, if she gets the inertia and then the DNC tries to kneecap her, I think enough voters are fed up with the DNC’s leadership at this point that it might not actually matter - that, or it’ll trigger a schism in the party that finally destroys the chokehold on power that the old guard has.
