You mean hiring the strategist that lost to Donald Trump in 2016 wasn’t the smart move? Weird, it’s almost like every single one of us could have seen that coming.
If it was from someone other than me you’d be right. I don’t exactly have the power to enforce consequences.
Location has been super annoying for me in Fedora. Neither the weather nor the timezone automatically update for me. And I travel every week for work.
And all of the ways Musk will see consequences:
A 757 can suffer a failed engine, no problem. Probably has a good enough glide ratio to suffer a two engine failure at enough altitude. Missiles are faster and can reach higher altitudes.
Its very confusibg that you go after the dnc
It’s really not. They’re one of the two parties in the two party system that our government is rigged to prop up.
But, that is what is happening. The DNC seems to be learning the wrong lessons from their loss. I have no reason to believe they will do better in the future until they realize they are out of touch and need to stop blaming the voters.
The thing with Trump is, he doesn’t care. He will do whatever he can until he’s told he can’t. So, until this gets challenged and makes its way through the courts, he will do it. So much of our system is built on “norms” that he can get away with doing things that seem like they shouldn’t be allowed. Until democrats start doing the same, they’ll keep losing for failing to do what the people want.
Surviving until another more friendly politician comes around is certainly a much better option.
The great tragedy was that he did it for 5 decades instead of retiring long, long ago.
On a whole, your point is taken, but Harris was far from geriatric. Her problem was she was the second worst candidate to run against Trump. All the polls showed Biden losing, Harris losing less badly, and “undeclared democrat” destroying Trump.
Just need a consultational amendment to change it. Getting 3/4 of states to agree on anything is going to be nearly a miracle, let alone that thing being the rights of the cheapest labor pool they have.
To be fair, he didn’t promise to be a one term president. He promised to be a bridge to the next generation, and people took that to mean a one term president. The way he set up Kamala with only no win scenarios and left her out to dry, it was clear he was not setting her up for success or himself to be one term. He reaped exactly what he prepared for, failure.
As someone who travels for work, everywhere is redoing their roads with that infrastructure bill money. It’s kind of funny because right now everyone is also complaining about all the construction… Biden did a lot of good, but his legacy will be torn apart by enabling Trump 47. I will remember Biden as the guy that worked with the racists while in the senate, protected Clarence Thomas, ran several times for president not getting the hint, got picked as VP for Obama to signal to racists that Obama was “one of the good ones”, then convinced the DNC to rally behind his presidential run to stop Bernie Sanders, then still not getting the hint tried to run again giving Trump basically the easiest path to victory he could have ever had.
It wasn’t just Arizona… Just make your they all remember this is what they voted for.
I’m more concerned about privacy from a US Corp, but not the controlling information element. US companies have at least some stake, however small that may be, in there being a US…
I don’t disagree about anything you said. TikTok is just an easier target and a more obvious threat because of its connections to China.
since it’s just regulatory capture for Facebook
Yes and no. Ultimately it will be that, but that’s not the reason. The reason isn’t the bullshit privacy concerns either. It’s the amount of influence the Chinese government can exert by tweaking the algorithm. TikTok already proved congress’ point when they had all those people call their congress person to protest the ban. Congressional offices got flooded with calls from people who had no idea what was going on, and many of which were too young to be voters. Having an adversary control the information of such a large portion of the population is a dangerous thing.
How am I supposed to demand them?
