      You don’t convince the opposition to vote for your candidate. You energize your own voters. This proves to Democratic voters that there are no good Republicans on this issue.

      One in five women from 15 to 49 years of age suffer from infertility. That means that a large number of people that vote republican have benefited from IVF, hope to benefit from IVF or have a loved one who has or would. Demonstrating to them that their representative is trying to block that access can convince them to either vote for a different candidate or not vote at all. Either is a win for the Democrats.

          I’m not talking about the candidates, I’m talking about their voters. Their voters do care but they are badly uninformed and misinformed about a lot of things. Making them wake up and smell what they’re voting for is a good strategy.
