Back in December, President Donald Trump professed to be “surprised” that his hand-picked board of trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts had suddenly voted to slap his name alongside Kennedy’s on the building.
Someone needs to sit tiny-d donnie down and explain to him that he is a skidmark that most decent people will work to remove his name or association from everything we care about.
It doesn’t matter what he does. He’s probably the worst President in history and people are not going to build monuments to him when he’s gone.
Right, which is why I’m putting the “probably” in there. I would say that he and Ronnie Raygun rank wayyyy up there as being the worst in recent memory, anyway.
Depending on what you call recent which really comes down to if living memory is a requirement or not I’d still put Wilson way up there as well. Motherfucker made the civil rights movement even more of a mess with his segregation of the feds and possibly may have been the reason the klan was reinvigorated with that shit he pulled with Birth of a Nation. Frankly the only thing he has over Trump is that he was actually a solid enough scholar, obviously had all the bullshit one would expect from a Southerner of the era but once you got passed that the he had a solid academic standard.
Yup. Ronnie Raygun left in total shame and disgrace, and was being Weekended At Bernies by the end, but the Collaborationist Media was eager to claim that America was “too tired” to go through something like Watergate again and moved on from Iran/Contra ASAP.
Even without all the (record-setting) criminality of the Ronnie Raygun administration - objectively the worst on record - Ronnie Raygun and his “revolution” did damage that is still being played out on America.
But the cons spent so much energy in the 90s on a few things: 1. Trying to retcon everything about the 80s and particularly Ronnie Raygun, and mounting efforts put his name/visage on everything possible, including Mt. Rushmore, and 2. Actively trying to divide America as much as possible - see Newt’s efforts in his GOPAC and attack Clinton, spread emails like the Body Count email, and generally queen the fuck out about him and Hillary as if they were some kind of far-left vanguard of the Sixties Generation coming to DC to bring about Marxism in the USA.

History is relative and we’ve had some bad Presidents, but that “probably” is doing a lot of work.
Really the only contenders I can think of are those who made Trump possible namely Jackson, Andrew Johnson, Wilson, and Reagan.

They’re gonna lost cause him into the greatest president in history by 2032. Like Reagan.

No monument built will stand for long anyways. They can barely keep his Hollywood star intact.
Wait, he has a Hollywood star?
The answer is sometimes.
Getting a star just requires someone to nominate you and pay for it. They are kinda lame when you think about it.
Yea you can just buy them
