Not sure what the surprise is here. The Democrats proved they’d rather let Israel keep genociding unhindered than win an election in 2024.

I have a very poor understanding of history and a very unsophisticated opinion on these issues. I don’t give a fuck about Jews but israelis are fucking assholes.

I find the “does Israel have a right to exist” question infuriating.

Through some complicated historic fuckery they do exist but if there’s anyone who really deserves to be wiped from existence its probably them.

Well no. That’s the thing, if your existence relies on wiping other people out of existence, you become a nation founded on that ideology. Israel should not exist, but the people should not be harmed, ideally, no one should be harmed. War is the solution of idiots enforced by murderous psychopaths and when the war is over the psychopaths ascend to power.

No one can be wiped from existence. The tribes wiped from existence in America haunt this land and fuels the rage and despair of the survivors. It isn’t a solution, it’s pollution on our collective souls.

But I’d probably be okay with all the people who committed war crimes finding themselves dangling at the end of the rope in the Hague. Maybe we can find the kid of the guy who botched all the Nazi hangings.

My rep (Auchincloss) is on the list.

He won by 50 points against a progressive. Though he was more of a token opponent than anything, he didn’t campaign, nobody knew who he was.

      Fucking incumbent bias.

    33 American traitors.

Americans have the right to boycott whatever they want. Nobody has a right to American money.

Ignoring the top education democrat too:

Bobby Scott, the top Democrat on the education committee, criticized the bill as unnecessary and potentially in conflict with first amendment protections of protest.

“No college or university has embraced the BDS movement anyway. So, we should combat antisemitism wherever it occurs, but we should not do so by punishing protected speech or conflating a student’s view with university policies,” he said. (The Guardian US House passes bill penalizing universities that participate in boycott of Israel)

Since Citizens United already ruled that money is speech, any university challenged by this law should have an airtight 1st amendment case in their defense.

The boycotts must be working if they’re this worried about stopping a boycott. Keep it up!

Someone should have sent a missile into that golf course the day of the election. Need to start executing people in the streets.

I believe universities, under pressure from the students and faculty, are refusing to fund a genocide. And somehow these congressmen are very upset that they aren’t funding the genocide.

Antisemitism isn’t part of any boycott equation. It’s the only arrow in Israel’s quiver of public relations. Well except for billions in taxpayer money to funnel back to the lawmakers.

I wonder if the school will learn that lesson.

Kind of depends on how far down the road you look.
