People with ADHD tend to maladaptive daydream, so how can they possibly watch a movie or show? When you watch a film or a series, you’re supposed to not think about anything else except what you’re watching. You aren’t supposed to daydream, because then you aren’t watching the show or movie, and you won’t follow along with the story, themes, characters, etc. You’ll forget scenes, so how can people with ADHD possibly watch movies???

Well shit, now I’ve got to rewatch everything I’ve ever seen because I’ve been doing it wrong.

If its good, im 100% focused… if its bad i can’t even sit still. Simples.

This is not how you are supposed to watch film and television. Even if a movie is “bad,” it deserves full attention, and you can’t really know if a movie is bad if you are not paying attention and daydreaming???

If I’m watching something I’m interested in, I’m fully invested. If it’s just something that I consider background noise, I’ll listen to it while playing on my phone, or doing something else.

I don’t know why at this point not all lemmy platforms/apps don’t have user tagging available. Makes it much easier to spot this moron and their fake accounts.
