Kamala is out there actually campaigning while Trump pretends to work at McDonald’s for an hour. The race should not be this close at all and we live in the dumbest timeline.
It’s not just that the race shouldn’t be close; the race shouldn’t exist. In an even vaguely sane world, Trump would be a crackpot independent that no major party would touch and wouldn’t be on any ballots, acting as a write-in candidate for your nutjob uncle with untreated delusional disorder.
I completely agree. Politicians have lost their entire careers for doing less than what Trump has done: Howard Dean, Al Franken, Dukakis, and Anthony Wiener to name a few.
Oh, Trump does shit on a five-times-a-day basis that would make the Dukakis tank “scandal” blush. Like serving a college football team a feast of McDonald’s at the White House alone (let alone the ridiculous, out-of-touch McDonald’s photo op yesterday) is so, so much dumber than the helmet. The helmet wasn’t even dumb, frankly – the voters were – but if it were, the things Trump does at minimum would be dozens of times dumber.
