TikTok sent push notifications to some of its users to encourage them to call their representatives and ask them to vote against a bill that could ban the app in the U.S.

      I love how the conversation is always “ban tiktok” and not “ban the specific practices that make TikTok problematic”.

      Don’t want to upset the massive corporate overlords that run the US social media companies doing the exact same things.

        All the discussion around banning Tiktok is just so an American company can take its place.

        Useful idiots and tools don’t understand this, though.
