November’s midterm elections are right around the corner, and Republicans are slated to have their asses handed to them in both branches of Congress as the Democratic Party maintains a significant lead over the GOP.
Now, Democrats are making it perfectly clear that Pentagon Pete will be one of the first in their sights if/when they regain power.
New York Democratic Rep. Pat Ryan told POLITICO in no uncertain terms: “Hegseth and crew better buckle up and lawyer up because we are coming at them full on.”
Promising “incredibly aggressive oversight,” Ryan promised to finally bring the Trump-Era Secretary of Defense to heel "because this is by far the most corrupt and least transparent Pentagon, I think, we’ve ever had.”

Maybe win some elections and don’t get ICEd before you start threatening people? Just sayin.
They took the “If not now, when?” approach and yoloed authoritariaism.
It’s a bold move Cotton. Let’s see how it plays out.
I think articles like this that are hopeful about a swing are detrimental because they placate people.
