    If voters can’t understand materials written at a 12th grade reading level, the education system should be improved to fix the problem rather than dumbing down society to account for it.

      I agree, but often times these are written intentionally confusing. The info should be presented in a manor that the entire population can understand it clearly.

      Make the existing situation more digestible while improving the education system. Unfortunately, there are many adults that are no longer in the education system that won’t directly benefit from better education standards, so we need to accommodate them as well.

      I think we’re sadly in a position to need both, until the educational system is corrected.
