I hate how much I’m seeing the current administration used for the argument “we need to bring bullies back” when the bullies are often the wealthy privileged who look down on the weird peasants and their lack of successful social signaling.
Yeah, what is it with this trend lately of disparaging the victims of bullying, blaming fascism on the bullied victims?
The fascists are the bullies.
And even if people want to say that bringing back bullying would prevent fascism, that still makes no sense, because if you honestly believe that bully victims become fascists, then wouldn’t that mean bullying people just creates more fascists?
But the reality is, the bullies were always the privileged jerks or dodged accountability while projecting and casting blame on anyone who stands up to them. Those bullies grow up to become fascists.
Anyone who says “bring back bullying” needs a solid punch in the face along with every other bully. Maybe that will reduce the number of people who grow up to become fascists.
