Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to Rome and Vatican City this week in a bid to ease rising tensions between Donald Trump and Pope Leo XIV over U.S. policies, particularly the Iran war.
The State Department said Monday that Rubio, a Catholic who with this trip will have visited Italy or the Vatican at least three times as the Republican president’s top diplomat, would be in Italy on Thursday and Friday. The Vatican announced that Rubio would meet with Leo, the first American pontiff, on Thursday.
I’d turn him away.

A worthless diplomat. He’s still safe. As soon as he releases Vance, the Pope Killer, that’s when we have a problem.
I’m 99% sure Rubio is going is just to humiliate Vance. Vance is technically the highest ranking catholic and traditionally should be leading and organizing this, but he’s not even allowed to go on the trip.
Just gonna make it worse cause Rubio is worthless.
Rubio is hoping to stay alive next to Trump long enough to be crowned Governor of Cuba. The fact is that despite Rubio himself being useless, this could actually work.
Oh yes. I see Rubio is off to remind the Pope that he’s advocating the Sin of Mercy. All true Christians know that God will toss anyone who practices “forgiveness” into the Fire, as he did to the Romans who attempted to murder his kid. I’m sure Emperor Tiberius regretted a few things when Jesus strangled him to death with his bare, holy hands.
