    The more this happens the less I believe conservatives are going to have an a-ha moment and understand this is the new world we live in and that cuts to these services were required.

    There’s no path forward on this subject.

    I agree with the school of thought that we’re too far gone, and there’s no reversing it, just mitigating it at this point

      We’re still accelerating towards the cliff. Mitigation starts with taking our collective foot off the gas, both literally and metaphorically, but that is so far out of the realm of possibility that we might as well be talking about actual magic.

        Especially with the awful bill the cons just passed. They actually worked to intentionally kneecap wind and solar while subsidizing coal. That’s how fucked up this timeline is.
