    Democrats: We did literally none of the things we campaigned on!

    Also Democrats: Wow I can’t believe our voters didn’t turn out to vote for us. It must be Russian propaganda and Trump rigging the election! There is literally no other rational explanation!

        If only the executive branch or the house or the Senate had the power to make any law changes or any changes or budgeting or any changes to departmental policies. Shame we live in a country where you elect people who have literally no power and instead must defer to 9 unelected officials. Sounds like a real functional democracy
