The cause is effect. They hate women because they don’t vote for them, and women don’t vote for them because they hate women. I don’t think it’s actually possible to disentangle, trying to say which comes first in the feedback loop is pointless.

They want to take away women’s power to ever say “no” to a man. Voting is part of that, but really, they want women as pets.

It took several hundred years to make factories even reasonably safe for humans to work in, and yet still, workplace injuries are extremely common because the human form is simply bad at doing this kind of work. It’s trash.

The human form isn’t designed to work in a factory, why would you make your robots have humanoid bodies??

Flying sucks, but the US is such a massive country with so many natural wonders I think it’s reasonable to vacation within it: the Rockies, Niagara Falls, The Painted Desert, Yellowstone, etc. It also has a plethora of museums, galleries, and camp grounds.

But people aren’t even doing that anymore.

imo the DSA’s goal shouldn’t be to change the party from within, it should be to split the party and take as many people with them as they can to form a labor party from the ashes.

The electoral system is designed to favor them. Trump only had a plurality at 49.9%, did you know that? And the first time he didn’t even have a plurality.

Doesn’t matter. Red states where livestock outnumber voters get extra representation per capita because this country was founded as a settler-colony. A voter in Wyoming wields roughly 3.6 times more influence in presidential elections than a voter in California. The US is structurally undemocratic.

Hardly, he’s just continued the same trajectory the US was already on.

The next president will be worse, and the next after that, until the US collapses.

But like, it wouldn’t actually allow most people to take vacations. In fact, things would probably be roughly the same if Biden or Kamala had won. The current situation is structural, not just the fault of any single person.

If Trump died tomorrow, nothing would change.

When I say the US is the worst, I don’t mean it’s unique. If any other empire happened to exist in a world with billions of people they’d have easily been as bad as the US is. The US is the worst simply as an accident of history and population growth.

For other people, their quality of life is lessened because they are trapped at home.

I think the US gets to inherit some of the guilt for the extermination of the native population and the colonization of the Americas.

The expansion of the Mongol empire, especially in China and on their way to Baghdad killed around 40 million people, an estimated 11% of the global population.

For comparison, US sanctions have killed 38 million since 1970. That’s just from sanctions. There’s a tendency for more modern empires to kill more people, simply because there are more people to kill. I don’t think that makes the US some uniquely evil country or anything, it’s just another empire and it just so happens to be an empire when the most people have lived.

tbh population growth means the most modern empire will also be the most evil, simply as a matter of scale.
