I don’t expect that, and I don’t let apathy and defeat prevent me from participating in the process.

I usually hear “everyone is corrupt” from the people who’s “guy” happens to have been found to be corrupt.

Kind of like saying “everyone steals office supplies” or “everyone cheats on their wife” - says a lot about one’s character.
