Rudolph W. Giuliani said he still had “legal defenses” in a case brought by two election workers who said he had defamed them as he asserted that the 2020 election was marred by fraud.
Pretty sure he’ll be on the ticket for president as either a convicted felon (possibly running from jail) or actively on trial for federal offenses. There’s nothing in our laws or constitution to prevent such a thing. The old assumption that the “party of law and order” voters would toss a criminal to the curb are pretty much out the window as well.
That thumping sound you hear is Trump getting thrown under the bus.
Hopefully that bus does forward-reverse moves for the next 17 months and wipes him from the election.
