Had he taken hundreds of random Joe’s tax returns and leaked to the press absolutely nothing would have happened and if he even got caught, like by turning himself in, he would’ve gotten a mild sentence. But now it was wealthy and powerful folk and thus he gets hammered as hard as the law allows.
