President Donald Trump on Monday used an anti-transgender slur to attack Democratic South Carolina Senate nominee Dr. Annie Andrews, as he tries to push his handpicked GOP candidate, Sen. Darline Graham, over the finish line in the midterm election.

“Annie ‘Trannie’ Andrews is running against our wonderful Darline Graham for the Senate in South Carolina,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. He used a version of the slur three times in the post.

Andrews did not reference Trump’s comments in a statement responding to his post, instead saying, “I’m in this race to fight for my patients, my three kids, and South Carolina.”

“And I’m going to work with anyone to put South Carolina first, because lowering costs and making life better for families across our state is going to take all of us working together. If you care more about your bills than the politics in Washington, this campaign is for you,” she said.

Leader of a political party in the USA.

Imagine if he was just somebody’s shitty grandpa. But no, the actual leader of the free world.

Still spins my head that I’m alive and this is real.

Dipshit can’t even spell slurs right. Like I’m sick and tired of being so aggressively hated, but still, what a fucking loser.

That’s never mattered. Transmisogyny is used to attack cis women for failure to meet “feminine ideals” in the same way that straight men who fail to live up to masculine ideals are often subjected to homophobia.

Actually worse she made it clear she was not supporting trans in anyway. Actually the opposite. So not supporting trans is a slap in face and you get called slurs anyway. So why not support them?

Yes, transphobia can be used against anyone, even against cis gender transphobes!

There is no way to both prove one is not a trans and keep their dignity. And even sacrifying their dignity, it could still be called fake, AI-forged, or make their opponent claim that they are a closeted egg trans.

Which makes that cis gender transphobes should take position against transphobia.

(And even if that is not against her, and I recognize trans women are women, I really think JKR is a trans woman ^^)

Hopefully people will start to realize that abandoning vulnerable people won’t stop fascist assholes from demonizing you anyway. Their criticisms are in bad faith, so there’s no way to appease them.

As a trans person who’s tired of being argued about and used as a tool to curry favor and fear, but never spoken to directly in political messaging,

    sigh

My comment was about polling and how I think they are being underestimated. Not sure why a mod removed it. I mentioned Kalshi betting as a joke. Is that really why? Maybe consider the context and what the point of a comment is before you remove a well written comment for making a joke about betting ods.
