They have multiple strategies for Before, During, and After, and some will work, and some won’t. We have to anticipate each one, and develop counter strategies. We also have to react instantly to whatever nonsense they pull.
Obviously, we are in the Before Stage, and fighting things like the SAVE Act, which is central to his entire strategy, but not nearly the only one. He is hit and miss on gerrymandering, and his mail-in vote suppression.
And now we are hearing rumors of what they intend to do in the During Stage, which is Election Day, and the vote counting phase afterwards, where they will be loudly screaming “FRAUD!” about EVERYTHING, even stuff that doesn’t exist. Just ignore them. They scream “FRAUD!” about everything, an eye roll should be the usual reaction, followed by STFU. We are under NO obligation to take their latest cries of “WOLF!” seriously.
I really doubt they’ll try to occupy the polls, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they cause incidents at 2 or 3 polls around the country, early in the morning, so footage of the incidents will circulate on all the news channels all day, and convince a lot of people that ALL the polls are violent, and they’ll stay away. I think that would hurt the MAGA vote worse, though, they are far bigger cowards than Lefties.
But the real problems are going to happen in the AFTER Stage, because that’s their last chance. Expect Trump to declare the results of SOME elections invalid, and Mike Johnson will agree, and refuse to seat many seats. It will be a debacle, and a true Constitutional Crisis. That’s a phrase that gets batted around a lot, but this will be the real thing.
The outcome to that could be anything, but looking beyond that, the next 2 years are going to be crazy, and violent. If they don’t take 1000% control of this nation by 2028, and literally end elections altogether, they will all be going to prison, and possibly worse. They KNOW this, and FEAR it. They will cause a Civil War before giving up power.
