    I know it cost money, but consider a flipsky or anothe VESA controller.

    It’s pre built with all the ways to mod it and bypass the headache. Also it’s a buy once and never buy again(until it breaks).

      Why would you want to go faster on an e-scooter? If you’re suicidal there are many better methods than this…

        Why would you reprogram an e-scooter in Rust if the objective wasn’t to make it run faster and more efficiently?

          security against remote hacking, privacy to use randomized bluetooth MAC address and maybe even disable bluetooth, safety to turn off more gracefully when something malfunctions. some scooters keep the engine running if the throttle is pressed when the head unit reboots

          First of all, anything written in rust is automatically hacker-poof. You forgot to mention that part.

      Not this model, but the author mentioned another that had configurable speed limits so it might work for that one
