I just want to say I appreciate you not knowing who Hasan is yet still understanding his relevancy

Way too many people in the comments (not on this post) acting like he’s just some random streamer. Which…yeah, I guess he is. But he’s insanely influencial to a demographic who desperately need guidance. He’s on our side basically recruiting people to the cause.

He’s operating in a space dominated by chuds. He’s showing young people there’s another way to view the world than the “us vs them” pushed by the right.

i suspect that the was a pre-release version of graham platner, but decided to go w being a personality rather than a politician like his uncle.

pike rocketed into mainstream fame out of nowhere like graham platner did and the american gov’t has a well documented history of elevating candidates who have progressive aesthetics with little-to-no progressive beliefts to prevent americans from elective progressive candidates.

i’m positing that piker and platner were both elevated because people feel that they’re progressive, but they only have centrist platforms.

              that’s usually true. lol

but this doesn’t require anything beyond being a student of american history.

Apparently it does. Hasan is a twitch streamer, not a politician

He’s also part of the “dirtbag left” which is much more like alt/actual left than centrist

pike rocketed into mainstream fame out of nowhere

No he didn’t lol. He started in the young Turks in like 2013. He’s been streaming on twitch since 2018. Yes his popularity has increased quite a bit in recent years, but it was not “out of nowhere”

i’m positing that piker and platner were both elevated because people feel that they’re progressive, but they only have centrist platforms.

At this point, he’s to the left of Bernie Sanders, who is to the left of most of the Democratic party. For a figure in the United States, he’s not a centrist. Especially on the subject of Palestine. If anything he’s been elevated as punching bag for centrists.

I’m not versed enough in Piker lore to say either way but this definitely feels like a stretch. His dad is also a leftwing political commentator with similar beliefs.

Establishment Democrats actively try to distance themselves from him, too.

Who is his dad? If you mean his uncle, Cenk, he’s been a reactionary for a while. He performs radicalism but he’s a dumbass at best, a grifter at worst. Hasan seems a lot better than Cenk.

Oh, yeah I thought that was his dad lol

I was just saying he was exposed to politics at a young age and had the nepo boost going for him. I checked his wiki page and didn’t know he worked AT the young Turks

He began streaming on Twitch in March 2018, while working at The Young Turks, leaving the network in 2020 to focus full-time on his streaming career.

So even more reason to think his rise to fame isn’t suspicious. Democrats are famously bad at planning long term, I find it hard to believe they planted this seed 8 years ago

calling anyone in the piker clan leftwing is the stretch here since they’re liberals that only differ from democrats due their criticism of isreali zionism.

and establishment democrats once distanced themselves from obama too – democrats are schools of fish that simply do what their neighbor is doing without much thought as they collectively swim away from whatever they perceive to be a shark atm.
