November’s midterm elections are right around the corner, and Republicans are slated to have their asses handed to them in both branches of Congress as the Democratic Party maintains a significant lead over the GOP.
Now, Democrats are making it perfectly clear that Pentagon Pete will be one of the first in their sights if/when they regain power.
New York Democratic Rep. Pat Ryan told POLITICO in no uncertain terms: “Hegseth and crew better buckle up and lawyer up because we are coming at them full on.”
Promising “incredibly aggressive oversight,” Ryan promised to finally bring the Trump-Era Secretary of Defense to heel "because this is by far the most corrupt and least transparent Pentagon, I think, we’ve ever had.”

When will the media and the Democrats understand?
There will be no midterms.
Either ICE will scare everybody away from the polls, the postal service will burn all the democratic ballots, or Trump will straight up declare the election rigged, null and void and declare martial law or some shit.
How do I know that?
Because Trump behaves EXACTLY as if the midterms didn’t matter.
If he expected a fair election - let alone any election at all - he would endeavor to win people over to the Republican side. And every-fucking-thing he does achieves the exact opposite. He has dementia and he’s not smart, but he’s smart enough to know that. Yet he doesn’t care.
Students who plan on cheating on the test don’t study. And you wonder why they don’t study and look all cool and casual about it, right up until the time they take the test and you see them pull out the cheat sheet under the table.
That’s Trump: he doesn’t intend to take the midterm test fairly. I guarantee you that. And he has the power of the presidency.

What are you talking about, he openly tried to bribe everyone… He’s been acting straight up DESPERATE to win the mid-terms, he isn’t acting like they don’t matter at all.
Actually it’s plan A vs paln B - try carrot first as it will provide better story for legitimacy but if all else fails there will be action. Jan 6 is still fresh in memory. Dude does not like to lose and will use “scorched earth” approach when cornered.
