Even if you don’t care about it, I’ve seen like no ads for it. Usually they are playing by now and plastered everywhere. Only thing I’ve seen is shitty looking merch at gas stations and Walgreens.

It is not. They sold the tickets, mostly to first level skalpers, so they are good and don’t need any more advertising.

Huh, now that you mention it, I don’t see much promotional merch in Japan either. They usually have stuff to support the national team for these kind of events. But I guess they wouldn’t even be able to print packages in Samurai Blue since even our potato chips packaging will soon be black and white.

They probably have sold all tickets to first-level skalpers (and maybe to a handful of real fans) long ago, so why waste money on advertizing?

You are correct, it’s starting June 11th. That’s why I think it’s so weird there has been like zero ads I’ve seen so close to the tournament.

“The Continental Soccer Association is coming to America! It’s all here - fast-kicking, low scoring, and ties? You bet!”

“You’ll see all your favorite soccer stars. Like Adiaga! Adiaga two! Badiaga! Aruglia! And Pizzoza!”

“This match will determine once and for all which nation is the greatest on earth - Mexico or Portugal!”
