I just find the idea that Gaza swung the election so improbable. Do most Americans even know Gaza exists, let alone what is happening there? And how many who do know care about what’s happening to people they’ve been told are all terrorists?
Democratic voters (young left leaning) do care, have you not seen the protests? We made it loud and clear we won’t vote for KH if she insists on supporting the genocide and she responded by thanking Dick Satan Chaney for his service and calling for the most lethal military.
If you buy that she didn’t lose because of Gaza, you’re gonna have a lot more losing to witness.
Even if the numver of actual protesters aren’t enough to swing the vote, telling them to fuck off has an outsized impact because those are the activated ones who get the rest of their cohort to vote.
The people who care about Gaza are exactly the politically activated youth the dems need to have any kind of ground game. The autopsy acknowledged that the national campaign barely moved the needle compared to local organizations.

So I don’t find its omission that surprising.
