Sorry, but I want to scream whenever people try to say if just more people voted the election would have been different. You know what would change if more people voted? Practically nothing. The percentages would have been pretty much the same.
~65% of eligible voters voted last election. That is MORE than enough of a sample size for the Law of Large Numbers to come into effect, and you can try to talk about demographics, or suppression, or the psyche of people who don’t vote, but I promise you the Law of Large Numbers does not give a shit and the percentages would not change.
We have to face the fact that yes, over 50% of the US really did support Trump. You can not assume that non voters would fall anywhere else.
