    Well of course, our standard of living have declined every year since the seventies. We take a pay cut every year because they changed the way inflation is measured to understate it, the old measure averages 5 to 8% a year just by 2008 while the new measure is like 2 to 3%. It is a compound fucking that just by 2008 would have seen your average Social Security check be worth $1,300 more a month. It really is like that. Numbers Racket, Harper’s Magazine, 2008.

    That said the rate of compound fuckery has obviously increased under this President as we all knew it would.
