The anti-coercion instrument, known as the “big bazooka” of the EU’s trade arsenal, would give the commission powers to go after US multinational companies, slapping extra taxes on the digital revenues of tech firms.

Unfortunately zero-indexed Mondays are the only sane way to live life…
Just a shower thought…
…not a sermon?
Just saw the edit. I don’t really know what universal links are. Would one way be better than the other?
Thanks ❤️
These settings seem to be working for me.
I’m only looking at the local/new feed so I don’t think I’d need to identify instances?
There’s a setting to view votes as total/combined or separate
😱🤩
Thank you! 🙏
There is a “Custom” option (see screenshot) in my feed reader that allows you to provide a “Template” and “Pattern” to open posts in a third party client but I’m not sure where to start or if Voyager even has a URL scheme.
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks!
I can’t think of an explanation for the periodic grid like clusters. Anyone?
It’s probably at least partially something adjacent to survivorship bias. The most remarkable actions of the past that “survive” to the present to be retold are the ones that were most impactful.
But all of the current protests you feel are not as impactful help build a foundation for the more impactful ones.
Why is sentry mode the the bar to cross?
I have it set to automatically open in reader mode in Safari/iOS. I assume other browsers/OSes have a similar feature.
I’m only 6 miles from a grocery store but just having moved from a major metropolitan area to a small city in a rural area has been a shock.
I cannot caution you enough. You’re right to be hesitant. If it’s possible do a long term stay before you consider it. And I mean like a month or two minimum. It’s got to be long enough for you to get over being in a “new and interesting” place so you can really experience what day to day life is like.
What frustrates me is how we, especially on the left, tend to fumble these moments. Instead of recognizing that some of these people might be waking up, we rush to humiliate them
Ok - on the one hand we could permanently convert one of these folks from a die hard to a never-Trumper.
But on the oooooother hand we could get some social media juice making another tired Leopards Eating Faces joke. It’s really a toss up, ya know?
This can’t possibly go over well with the rank and file
Let me ask you a question: how do you feel about frilly toothpicks?
No - I got it after your first reply. I was trying (and failing) to make my own joke about the ambiguity of “There’s wrong words” being possessive or a contraction.
So we’re talking about their and why then?
Why didn’t Hillary think of this defense?
