In the rest of the developed world, “Democrats” are conservatives. It’s high time that Americans fully make distinction and articulate their views instead of being pigeonholed by corporate/fascist media’s newspeak. I think the only positive aspect of Trump’s presidency is that a lot of Americans are becoming woke in a real sense that the “left”, which is coopted and mudied by corporate newspeak, is gaining its real meaning. Americans are starting to see that the two parties two cheeks from the same ass, as we would say in Ireland.
A lot of people incorrectly believe the Democrat party is unified on issues and policy.
In reality, there are a lot of right wing DINOs who just use the label of “Democrat.” Schumer, Pelosi, Clintons, and Jeffreys are right wingers.
When the entire leadership are right wing, that means the party is right wing.
In reality, progressives are DINOs. Real Democrats love deportations, love police, love militarism, and love austerity.
And Harris, Biden, Waltz, Newsom, Obama, that bald guy who had a stroke, etc etc etc
Only a very teeny tiny minority espouses center left views.
