    BBC said they (Israel) wrote:

But in a post on X early on Monday, the Israeli foreign ministry said: "While Greta and others attempted to stage a media provocation whose sole purpose was to gain publicity - and which included less than a single truckload of aid - more than 1,200 aid trucks have entered Gaza from Israel within the past two weeks, and in addition, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has distributed close to 11 million meals directly to civilians in Gaza. “There are ways to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip - they do not involve Instagram selfies.”

    Wow. What a prick.

“I have instructed the IDF [Israel Defense Forces] to act so that the hate flotilla … does not reach the shores of Gaza – and to take all necessary measures to that end,” Katz said in a statement.

The Hate flotilla? FUCK EVER LAST ONE OF THESE BLATANTLY LYING MOTHERFUCKERS WITH A PINEAPPLE BACKWARDS!!! I don’t know how but we need to completely end the careers of everyone who tries to twist shit around like this.

“To the antisemitic Greta and her fellow Hamas propaganda spokespeople, I say clearly: You should turn back—because you will not reach Gaza,” Katz said, referring to Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, one of the 12 people on board. “Israel will act against any attempt to break the blockade or assist terrorist organizations—at sea, in the air, and on land.”

Seems to me we’ve gotten way past “post-truth” and are fully in the realm of “anti-truth”…

        Anti-truth, anti-science, anti-knowledge, anti-reason, anti-rational, anti-human, … !!!

I’m worried for my girl Greta. But she has nerves of steel staring down the IDF.

Godspeed, Greta. Hope this isn’t the last we see of you and hope you don’t go the way of Rachel Corrie.

EDIT: Also, godspeed to everyone else on that ship, too, of course, not just the famous person.

I think israel will be more careful with non-palestinians. Not saying they will let them stop the genocide, but can’t imagine Israel doing the people on the flotilla like they did the ambulance workers. But I have been wrong before, so i’m concerned for their safety too.

It’s the second attempt for Greta. The first ship was sunk, probably by a drone. This time there is more press coverage though, so maybe this time they won’t risk killing anyone.

How does the IDF know a third party navy isn’t surveilling and recording what is happening if not just for the crude leverage the evidence carries?

I feel like you could throw a stone off of Greta’s ship and it would hit intelligence gathering UUVs from 3 different nations.

I would bet money UUVs are crowding that boat like an audience following a golfer at a tournament, if only to see who you bump into in the crowd ya know?

if IDF harms them it will more likely be the isreal equivalent of falling from a window. More likely they will arrest them at gunshot and sink the ship. In that case the west doesn’t need video evidence as it has eyewitness testimonies. Let’s hope they are not betting on a single horse here.
