Advertisers should be held partially responsible for the ads they agree to serve. As it is they just hide behind the curtain saying they are just serving the ads, that they don’t control them.

Maybe they should be held responsible for incidents like this and malware ads sent via their system. They are the only reason that ad is being seen by the public.

Israel’s sympathy campaign is relentless. My LinkedIn is plastered with Hamas atrocities by Israelis in my network. They’ll settle for nothing less than enthusiastic support for their military flattening Gaza.

I’ve experienced the same. My whole feed is basically that these days, and you would think that people would keep it professional. I think actual ads, plus the crazy levels of nationalism, almost everyone being indoctrinated in the IDF, and most Israelis knowing someone who has been impacted, explains it, but boy is it annoying when you’re trying to do anything career related.

I think they’re very deliberate about taking it to the work sphere. They don’t want to yell about it on Facebook. They want their pogrom to be fully legitimized and so they’re proudly defending it publicly, all at once, in a professional sphere. Collectively, this gives it an air of legitimacy, like “it’s not just opinion, this is fact, we’ll even talk about it at work.” And frankly a lot of people in the business world are happy to just nod and repeat the mantra of the two political parties: Israel is our friend! The only democracy in the Middle East! It has a right to defend itself! (Returns to making money)

There was a time when propaganda was loads of printed papers thrown from warplanes. Now they shot right to your face when you want to check the weather in the morning from your phone.

Yet somehow the US feels it needs to send billions in financial aid to Israel? Riddle me this, Batman.
