We’ll see if they’re being honest snort, or if this is how they plan to cut funding to blue states programs. I don’t get why potential tax revenue streams are being cut, we need the debt from students to service our debt for our military spending. It’s like cutting off your pinky because it’s the smallest finger. Well now it’s the ring finger and we’ll be back here later.
Is this a good thing though? Under an administration that wants to help people this may make sense, but at the same time I’m pretty sure the intent is just to screw people in need over with no real intention to help those that want a higher education. I can see both sides of the argument here.
Why would any administration declaring what is a “real” field of study and gaining massive control over higher education be a good thing?
It’s the usual GOP stuff, I’m sure it isn’t even as ‘good’ as stated, corruption and stuff sure to ensue. But the tried and true: those aren’t real degrees, no sense in studying history, or environmental science, liberal arts. Nonono. If you can’t make the state money, get bent.
