My friend has created Foss groups on delta chat. I wish to add new members to these groups. Does lemmy and piefed accept Delta Chat group posts in the group promo communities ?

That depends on the rules of the promo community you have in mind. For !newcommunities@lemmy.world I guess that’s a “no”, that is not intended for delta chat groups.
What l’m discovering about #deltachat is that l can’t interact with people as l can do easily on piefed/lemmy. In this regard, #xmpp is far better.
