I don’t think it’s much genuine hate other than annoyance at the fact that they’re famous because they’re famous, and for that they seem to be inserted everywhere in popular culture by the corporate overlords. I for one can’t think of a single reason why I should like them. Yet I know their names somehow.
I’m tempted to claim that I don’t give a shit about them, but their marketing strategy seems to work, seeing as I’m writing this. I guess they’re in that segment of celebrity where any attention is better than indifference.
EDIT: Didn’t one of them get railed on cam by some other famous person and the tape got “stolen” some 20 years ago? I guess that’s one nucleation point of fame, at least.
There is a rumor they were launched into fame because Kim’s mom was the one who released that sex tape, with Ray J, who is now a nobody. Well not so much a rumor I guess, as Ray J is in court right now with that story. Anyways, they’re all a bunch of grifters what’s to like.
