Far-right activists in Britain are increasingly adopting the rhetoric of Christian nationalism. Yet while they look to American churches for an example, their evangelical style seems unlikely to map onto Brits’ quite different attitudes toward religion.
If you had any real knowledge about the Bible, you would have known that “John the Apostle”, “John who wrote the Gospel”, and “John who wrote the Apocalypse” are three entirely different people. The gospel was written around or after 100AD, when the apostle was long dead, and the John who wrote down his fever dream has an entirely different Greek dialect than used in the gospel.
Your believe in “every word in the Bible is absolutely true” dismisses you from any serious discussion about those topics, anyway.

I feel sorry for you to believe in this. And in the literacy of the bible. It simply supports my position that you do not understand the bible at all. I’ve met people like you, and they live a miserable life of fear when the core message of the New Testament is “God Loves You, Regardless Of”.
