Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's with users of fediverse using 'Go back to reddit' as a retort to other users?

becausebehave like 10 year olds in a COD lobby - hiding behind internet anonymity to act like complete assholes, and be as rude and disrespectful as they possibly can, because they believe there will be no consequences.https://lemmy.world/comment/22432016
Microsoft locked down their Discord server because people were being griefers with constantly using Microslop. I got called a shill and on Microsoft’s payroll because I didn’t defend/celebrate that behavior. I try to not bad-mouth a company on their “premises” and if I do and then get kicked out then I shouldn’t blame the company for doing so. I don’t have a right to be a jerk to “them” on their property, even if it’s not to an actual person.

3·22 days agothe Pentagon has said the contracts must allow the department to use the models as it sees fit, as long as those activities are lawful.
Who decides which activities are lawful? An official act by the President of the United States?

31·2 months agoAn employee on the work clock? Of course he is representing the company. If I see someone and they have a uniform then they are representing their company. They might be representing themself as well (personal reputation) but they are also representing their employer and their actions reflect on the company.
I think Trump is a piece of shit but you are in the wrong in this regard.

13·4 months agoPeople see me in cargo pants, polo shirt, a smartphone in my shirt pocket, and sometimes tech stuff in my (cargo) pants pockets and they assume that I am good at computers. I have an IT background and have been on the Internet since March of 1993 so they are correct. I call it the tech support uniform. However, people could dress similarly to try to fool people.
People will find ways, maybe makeup and prosthetics or AI modifications, to try to fool this system. Maybe they will learn to fake emotions. This system is a tool, not a solution.

1·5 months agoPreviously? Or now? Someone that I have known for a long time got treatment and she said that it sucked. She almost died twice. Even with the best of intentions (yeah, right) I expect a poor experience especially at the scale that they are talking about. However, my question is why are they doing the equivalent of arresting someone and sending them to treatment by saying that they are sending people to treatment without the formality of arresting them.

5·5 months agoMaybe they were the first to go because your company didn’t want them around no matter how skilled they might. It seems odd that all of them would be let go. That implies that your company decided to only hire incompetent people because of the color of their skin and refused to hire any minorities that were competent.
