I find it astounding that Americans STILL think there’s democracy in America.
It’s gone and it’s not coming back for a long, long time.

Yeah, that last protest – the biggest ever in the US wasn’t it? – did so much.
Protesting is what got you here. And they want you to keep protesting uselessly while they continue to take apart America.

Right? This is a no-brainer. Builds a technical workforce, creates Canadian businesses that pays taxes to Canada (instead of giving money to American companies who pay taxes to the US), saves an incredible amount of money that is currently spent on bullshit licenses to Microsoft, Google, etc. Not to mention the security implications of using American software in the Canadian government.

Americans are brainwashed to believe that there’s only one particular and specific way to protest, and beyond that all you can do is kill people.
They haven’t yet realized that there is a huge swathe of options in between, and it requires no organization or depending on others, and no violence against anyone. You can just quietly do stuff. Probably less risky than doing anything publicly in a country with ubiquitous surveillance and the law no longer matters. Protests are great for showing the level of public support for a movement, but if the government doesn’t represent the people their effect will be minimal for producing real change.
There currently is no cost for ventures into fascism. Make it so expensive they’ll think twice next time (if there is a next time.)
These points were all disproved long ago. The jack is a the same thickness as the display.
The reason is because BT headphones have a much higher margin, and need to be replaced every few years because of the battery (if not already replaced because they were lost or damaged).
It’s just a dumb cash grab.

LOL at your downvotes. I went to Catholic school and was taught BY PRIESTS AND NUNS that Jesus probably wasn’t one person but a composite of numerous roving preachers (a fad at the time). Oh, and early Christianity probably started as a mushroom cult. If the Catholics (Catholics!) could learn to apply reason to religion anyone can.

They’ll false-flag or just start killing people. They don’t need a reason anymore.
This whole “don’t have violent protests because they’ll declare martial law” is a psyop preparing people for martial law and pre-loading it with the assumption that when it does happen (and it will) it will be the fault of the protesters, despite evidence to the contrary.
Fascism 101 guys. Don’t be a sucker.

They’ll declare the Chinese factory part of the US Embassy.
Starlink should be globalized. A planet only needs one low-altitude orbiting communications network. Better to standardize the technology and platform and let them contribute to one system than to have a dozen identical competing systems crashing into each other and fucking things up for everyone.

Or the 2A people are perfectly content with their place in a fascist society.

Yeah, better to just sit around and do nothing. It’s not like it could get worse.

Secession is what Russia is blackmailing him for. Secede MAGA instead.

Stack Overflow hasn’t been useful for at least 10 years, if not longer.
The flagged “correct” answer is almost always wrong due to idiotic power-users and the vast horde of idiots who upvote obviously wrong answers because they’re bootlickers. The real answer is usually buried in between the posts by gatekeepers, pedants, idiots with something to prove, wannabe admins, egotistical idiots, the highly opinionated technologically insecure, etc ad nauseam. Reddit is just as bad for tech questions, if not worse.
Since I started using LLMs (running on my own inference server) I haven’t used anything else for tech questions that wasn’t opinion-based. Much, much more useful, and it requires you to think seriously about the problem to come up with a good prompt – which often gives you the answer before you even finish the prompt.

All of those sites are right-wing propaganda operations. Every single one of them.
Factual news is almost always going to be liberal biased. Sites like these encourage journalists to bias their news stories to the right for no good reason.
I’m surprised so many people are falling for this.

What makes you think you have to kill people? Why not just sink their yachts, burn their planes and homes? Dox them. Shut down airports with drones – nationally. Burn their warehouses, datacenters, factories. Hack their computers and steal their money. Etc… etc…
Americans are so indoctrinated that they think killing is the natural next progression of peaceful protests.
Humiliating them is much more damaging to their stupid movement.

That’s because overseas vacationers to the US buy their tickets many months ahead of time for deeper discounts and to make sure they can get a hotel room. Give it a couple more months…

It has nothing to do with training LLMs.
The US government data (each US citizen’s health, tax, etc. records) will be added to the data from Meta, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, and every other tech company that stores “advertising” data to create more complete profiles of each and every US citizen. This data can then be analyzed, filtered, collected and collated by whatever criteria “they” want, for whatever purpose.
NOW the LLMs can be used on this dataset to create lists. Very dangerous (and mostly wrong) lists.

We need a wiki where regular people can document and store evidence on the nazis, fascists and enablers currently destroying America. Not just ICE, but everyone. A place where sleuths can unmask and put a name on the worst of them. Where hackers can upload ICE payroll or employee databases. Perhaps even put together an interactive map showing where these people live so their neighbors can be safe.
Once the bastards see their names in print with proof of their crimes out in public perhaps they’ll realize how short their future is. Otherwise it’ll come in handy for the trials.
In the eighties when cell phones started being installed in cars, some people posted their phone numbers on their back or side window. That didn’t last long.
