Yeah quite a few people do that here, no interest in touching it myself. There is a huge supply of second hand phones though.

Probably just defeating reduced sales. Its not for you, it is to benefit them.

I’ll absolutely never touch that shit, but I am kinda curious what the pricing will look like.
How long does it take for buying to be cheaper than renting. How long before you are expected to get a new one - this is actually quite a big one, could it encourage more buying new laptops and so also improve the second hand market? Better and cheaper second hand laptops could be sweet.

Doesn’t this just mean the UK is more likely to refuse US requests in future

Should show high/low tides… Here we have a few islands at high tides and you can walk to them at low tide.

My phone isn’t always on my LAN and I don’t always have internet access when away from it.

Wouldnt Plex require connection though? Don’t really want to run a Plex server on each device either. VLC is local and I can just periodically sync the music library when on the same LAN.

Probably should look into that actually.

Yeah their maps are pretty shit, often missing paths. I use comaps which is offline open street maps, generally better but can still be lacking. Ordnance survey maps are the best and it isn’t even close.

Yeah, when is Amazon getting their fine

If the open source ones are good enough why would anyone pay enough for AIMegacorp to make a profit?

Disappointing, but not surprising.

Ohh I should try that. Just dump the entire music folder into VLC and shuffle.
Might encourage me to remove the random crap that got downloaded and left in the unsorted folder years ago… Some of it is good, some isn’t.

Where do you even use CDs these days? Mine is stored on SSDs.

I wish AI could solve 99% of my questions. Asked it about growing some veg and it told me to plant seeds to a plant that isn’t even grown from seed.

Yep, I do that. I don’t subscribe, I bookmark.

Nice. That is just enough of a barrier to stop be using reddit entirely. Not posted in years but sometimes read when bored enough.
Oats, enough water to form a dough. Maybe some salt.
Tempted to try using an oat sourdough starter though.
