Yeah, I canceled my subscription like 2 years ago, loosing my prize of 30% discount in the process (it was a thing since I had HBO GO). I don’t know if it’s a regional thing but there was just nothing new or interresting there. I remember just constant superheroes and Harry Potter. Went for Netflix and never looked back. So, good luck I guess, hopefully they change

I’m jumping into downvote pool but yolo - I kind of like Bill Maher. I don’t agree with him on everything, let’s say I disagree with like 30% of his points. But rest of it is kind of on point? And that’s fine, I don’t have to agree with people on everything. Actually that’s one of the points I liked from him - to learn to disagree. In today’s polarized world that’s a surprisingly refreshing idea. On the other hand I fundamentally disagree with him on Covid-19. So yeah. Also I find myself laughing at his jokes quite a lot, he has good writers imo

Autumn, I realized all the good things are in autumn - my birthday, september fairs, things calm down after crazy summer, halloween, and providing autumn ends officially at 22nd december - waiting for christmas, the atmosphere, christmas parties in december
Eh, I’m gonna play the devil’s advocate here but when I thought about it, I’d say it’s more like a human nature or common sense. I can imagine a person who feels excited by posting spicy pictures online in 2011 and then realizing “You mean people are willing to pay for this shit?”

In my opinion yes, unfortunately. It’ll suffer from Gartner hype cycle soon but it’ll recover and will slowly get better every year to the point it’s really good.
The worst thing is that I don’t see any “stop sign”. Like f.e. with self driving cars it was kind of obvious that it’ll get ridiculously complex in real life situations, thus having a problem with legislation and mass adoption. But with AI? I don’t know, I don’t see any stop sign … Maybe that it never reaches this high mark we all expect?

A classmate of mine from elementary school is a professional voleyball player. She traveled the world, played for teams in Europe, Middle east and Asia. I’m with you but I get it that sometimes it’s convenient. My wife likes what we call “cup recipes” in baking where everything is measured in cups/glasses (this was a new thing couple of years ago where I live). It’s very fast and convenient.

Citroen Saxo, everything was SO cheap. I remember I had to replace a side mirror and a new one was like … 30€? And I was able to do it myself.
Replacing a side mirror on my Octavia was almost 500€!

Yeah, well maybe you should put this into your graph as a choice. You might not like it but Ubuntu still has a major support for anything Linux related. Any manufacturer or software development - if they support Linux, there is a high chance that they mean basically Ubuntu, quite often they tested it just there. This is a HUGE advantage for any beginner.
Beginners don’t care about behind the curtain stuff, they just want things to work. And you might not like Canonical but Ubuntu does this
