We have a national videogame museum nearby that works with time slots, you pick an amount of time you want to be there or just get the all day pass, and inside all machines are on free play. I never liked arcades because of tokens, but man do I love single pay arcades!
But how does that diminish the irony? The story is still ironic as a whole, even though he achieved his goals.

Agreed, this is all only a problem if for some strange reason you’re not willing to look at usb-c charger and cable specs that you buy, I have a brick and charger that do 100w, I only buy cables that take 100w ,all my devices require less then 100, and it works every time. Gosh, so hard. Never mind that if you take that very small step, it does work every time, the usb C connector is very robust and reversible, and now I have truly universal charging.
I like the no charger supplied rule. I can pick my own cool charger.
Very cool! I’m thinking of going for ubuntu touch, seeing as Android has proven that it’s no longer worth the time investment. Also, Fairphone 5 is my next phone if the current one dies, so it works out.

For audio, take to a local thrift store or Facebook marketplace or whatever platform is the most used locally and mix and match your own receiver + speaker set. A decent receiver can be found around €50, speakers can be even cheaper. Most modern speakers of some size are decent enough, bought some second hand Jamo tower speakers for 50 for the set(2) as well. Smaller bookcase speakers with minimum 4 inch (if you don’t go for a seperate subwoofer) speakers can be found for €20. You need some oomph in the lower end to get some extra cinema points. Stereo sets are fine, 5.1 is fun but I’d rather have amazing stereo then ok 5.1 , you know?
For beamers, I’d look for a secondhand beamer that was used in business setting.
A clean white wall is cheap en convenient beaming surface, but a good screen will help increase brightness which can often be the most tricky part about beaming at home. But harder to do secondhand.
Sidenote, I almost never save the boxes of stuff I buy, but the tv box gets special treatment in the attic, because in the box it’s very transportable, but without it, I agree, it’s a big hassle.

Hahaha, yeah you’re right, this sucked, but not worse then rawdogging an unlit lcd in on the go conditions. ColorLCD is a lot worse still without backlight. But not playing as alternative… phew… yeah…
The problem with letting law enforcement hide their identities are diverse, destabilizing and dumb. Accountability for enforcement is already very improbable in the US, now you wouldn’t even know if your abducter is on ICE payroll because how would you?
There are already laws about doxing, why do these ICE need/deserve more protection? If I were them, i’d quit and not be an active part of turbo-eroding (destroying?) democracy.
