I try to learn something new.

There’s only so much time you can spend processing and healing… sometimes you need the reprieve of distractions.

Not only are you engrossed in an activity, but you feel a sense of accomplishment in the process.

For example:

• Taking an evening course with a hands-on or creative outlet
• Becoming a fan of a local team for a sport you don’t know a lot about
• take a new style of dance/boxing/yoga/etc. class
• Be a tourist in your own city and take “sightseeing” tours offered by local tour guides, etc.

Same. It looks like the best spot on paper, but maybe the back support is weird, or maybe I won’t like how my legs dangle, or maybe there’s nowhere to put your beverage… why am I like this?

I keep the new, unopened milk in the back of the main part of the fridge until it’s called to action for door duty

This is an interesting nuance. I find most children annoying, and I don’t want any of my own, but the love I have for my niece and nephew is bigger than I ever could have imagined.

I guess there’s always room for exceptions.

TransUnion asks for your credit card info as part of the “identity verification process” and then charges you $25 for the credit report “subscription” that at no point can you opt out of.

You have to call and talk to a human to get it refunded. During the call they will have “technical problems” and drop the line.

I hate TransUnion.
