I have a bluray burner, I have a guy I know locally who can print out covers for me etc.
Only thing I don’t really know is what program I’m supposed to use, type of Disc to use, etc and if I can play my custom blurays on a normal bluray player?
You need a BD-R disc and if you want most blu-ray players to read it you need an app that can author either the BDAV (simple menus and video) or BDMV (what commercial movies use) structure depending on what you need. AFAIK not all blu-ray players accept BDMV in BD-R because of piracy concerns.
This joker here wanting to be king of the pirates.
Or, perhaps… an amateur filmmaker wanting to produce their own films?
If it was 2009 I’d say “maybe…” but for fuck’s sake it’s nearly 2024. If someone is legitimately tying to make original content for sale it’s getting posted to YouTube / Twitch / Whatever the Kids are Using, not being burned onto home-made BluRay disks. Also, having a “guy who makes labels” lined up prior to even knowing how to author an optical disk is pretty sus.
OP started another thread asking how to pirate Roxio…
People are buying new albums on cassette. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some small film maker doing it for novelty or fans.
