Well now the conspiracy theorist part of me is wondering if they didn’t gut a bunch of health related federal departments specifically for Thiel to swoop in and explain how he can make it all better for businesses that relied on those departments.
Businesses never relied on them, though. They hate them. That’s why deregulation is always such a big pitch from Republicans.
I was certain this was the onion from the headline, but this is actually exactly the sort of use case I imagine for this type of technology.
