        Yeah because them laying off cause “AI good” is what they are selling to the media and you are believing it.

        AI is not the issue. The corporations are the issue.

        Fuck man, read the article. It even says right there what the CEOs are blaming it on and oddly enough it has nothing to do with THEM.

          No one here brought up AI until you did.

          I was never under the impression that AI was anything but a convenient scapegoat for cost-cutting - the mentions in the article are all quoting the companies themselves (edit: and Gavin Newsom looking to score political points). There’s no fear-mongering here, just sad news.
