As in, now matter how good they look on camera, its all an act for the camera. If you REALLY wanted to build wells or help the blind, turn off the camera and go do it.
I oscillate fairly hard on that. Its all an act, its a selfish thing at its heart, but good comes out of it, so he needs to be successful to do the good, but then he gets way more out of it than the beneficiaries, but without that he wouldnt be able to do the next one, which hes only doing to make himself money…
It leaves a sour taste in my mouth, but its a net positive overall I assume…
“good deeds” meaning staged charity events, that either dint really pay out, or wasnt really effective. ALot influencers will “i donated to charity” in order to gain more followers.
